I graduated from an art-school in Spring 2008; my official title is 'taidemaalari', which would translate into art-painter, painter or simply artist. I feel that's a good, extensive title which suits me well since it doesn't strictly label or limit my techniques.
Right now I mostly use oilcolours, but I also use watercolors and collage occasionally; I especially love to use old wallpapers and other 'vintage' materials!
My painting-styles have changed quite often during studies since it's been a requirement in the school to try out different things, but now I feel like I have a very strong vision of what is 'my style; it will without a doubt keep developing into one direction or the other overtime but that is completely acceptable and pretty much inevitable.
As for my themes... well, painting landscapes had been my 'it'-thing for the past six months, and I especially love to capture some specific mood into the painting.
I paint people, too, and still-lives and what not, so it keeps changing.
